I kept it simple for our first apples of the season, peeled and sliced up some Vikings, melted some butter in our new cast iron skillet (we've wanted one for so long and finally got one, yay!), added some cinnamon and brown sugar and sauteed them. Can't you just smell the wonderful aroma of apples and cinnamon, yum!
Then we put them over some vanilla bean icecream...we have a slight obsession with vanilla bean icecream:) Have I also mentioned before how much we LOVE apples?
